Most LED poi only light up the head, so your audience sees two glowing dots. RoPE by LUXI LUXI turns the entire rope and head into a living line of light, so every movement paints a hypnotic trail in the air.
RoPE is the first system where the rope itself carries digital LEDs and runs synchronised animations from knob to tip. Instead of two dim balls, your audience sees full‑length light choreography with every move.

RoPE combines digital LEDs, intelligent control and robust construction – so you can focus on flow while the tech quietly does the work.
Each RoPE contains 25–100 individually addressable LEDs sewn into the rope. This allows smooth gradients, pulses and patterns to travel along the full length, not just blink at the ends.
The head and rope run as one continuous animation. From the knob to the very tip, every pixel is timed so your effects flow as a single organism, not separate parts.
Flexible insulation and specialised wiring protect the LEDs from thousands of spins. When the rope eventually wears, you can replace it without buying a whole new set.
The audience sees two glowing balls. Rope movement is almost invisible. Long‑exposure photos become two simple lines with little sense of depth or structure.
Every part of the rope paints light. Your audience follows the entire path of each move. Long‑exposure images turn into detailed light artwork that looks almost unreal – but is captured in‑camera.
“The first time I saw RoPE live, I thought, ‘This isn’t poi. This is a light sculpture in the air.’”

RoPE METEOR / DART
Ergonomic design – 3D‑printed knob with integrated bearing and tuned weight for perfect balance and comfortable grip.
Long‑lasting power – up to 20 hours of operation, in‑device battery indicator and cells rated for 500+ charge cycles under normal use.
Durable design – rope is user‑replaceable, and the LEDs are protected for normal spinning and performance use.

RoPE is built for serious spinning – but like any precision tool, a few habits will dramatically extend its life.
Pro tip: when the full length of the rope stops lighting reliably or begins to flicker, simply order a replacement LED rope for 49 EUR and refresh your setup.
RoPE has been in the hands of professional fire artists, instructors and photographers before launch. Here’s how they describe it.
“Finally a poi where the audience can see every movement of the rope, not just the ends. For stage work, it’s a genuine game‑changer.”
Professional fire spinner
“I’ve been spinning for almost three decades. RoPE is the biggest innovation I’ve seen in 28 years – a true step change in how light tools behave.”
Flow art instructor
“The long‑exposure photos look like CGI renders, but they’re straight out of the camera. RoPE turns simple tricks into complex light structures.”

RoPE started as Jakub’s personal frustration. Existing LED poi were not bright enough along the rope, offered too few modes, ran out of battery too quickly and didn’t look impressive from close up or in photos.
So he did what many spinners dream about – he built the tool he wanted but couldn’t buy, and then spent years refining it with professionals.

RoPE is a precision instrument built for real‑world use. Our warranty and service are designed to keep you spinning, not worrying.
Replaceable LED rope – when LEDs no longer light along the full length or start flickering, you can install a new LED rope yourself.
If you’re planning to use RoPE on stage, in classes or for photography, these are the details that usually matter most.
Yes. RoPE is designed for frequent practice and performance, with flexible insulation and internal wiring that protect the LEDs during normal spinning, manipulation and tosses. As with any precision prop, avoiding extreme tangles and over‑twisting will significantly extend its lifespan.
If LEDs along the rope begin to fail or flicker, you do not need to replace the entire poi. You can order a replacement LED rope for 49 EUR and fit it yourself using the instructions supplied in the digital manual.
Approximate charging times from near empty are around 2 hours for RoPE Poi (1050 mAh battery) and about 3 hours for RoPE Meteor and RoPE Dart (3200 mAh battery), using a 5 V / 2 A USB‑C charger.
RoPE Poi typically ranges from 145–255 g depending on configuration, while RoPE Meteor and RoPE Dart range from 180–330 g. Within those ranges, weight can be tuned to match your preferences.
No. RoPE is not waterproof and should not be used in the rain or submerged in water. Avoid moisture to protect the electronics and maintain warranty coverage.
Yes. Using the Spectoda Connect app, you can link multiple RoPE devices and run the same mode, colour and brightness across all of them. The “All Off” command also powers them down together.
We ship across the European Union. Orders over 200 EUR qualify for free EU shipping; smaller orders are charged at an affordable flat rate shown at checkout.
If RoPE is not what you expected, you can return it within 14 days in its original condition for a refund, no questions asked. Full details are available in our Terms and Conditions.
